Every window sill in the home has water damage. This was caused by failing to clean the drain holes in the track, lack of repairing the caulking around the windows, the window not shutting all the way allowing wind driven rain to come through or in the worst case a window AC unit was improperly installed causing massive leaks. Fortunately for us except for the window with the AC unit the damage was limited to the paneling used to trim them out. We plan on repairing this by ripping out the old paneling strips and just replacing them with new ones.

I have already started replacing the caulk around the windows and doors. More to come as we progress with the repairs.
