PLEASE NOTE!!! Your OEM Amp Meter was NOT designed to handle this amount of current! If you install this in an FJ40 with the 30 amp Amp Meter, at a minimum, you MUST bypass the amp meter or you WILL FRY IT the first time the 80 amp alternator attempts to charge an almost dead battery. Same goes for the 50 amp Amp Meter though you are much less likely to fry it as it is a shunt type meter. Know what you are doing before attemping to use this high powered alternator in an older FJ40!

Non-Toyota (GM) Alternator connectors

Disclaimer! If you plan to run one of the newer GM alternators like the (pre-1990) CS-121, CS-130, CS-144, or the later (1990 and up) CS-130D or CS-144D you need to do some research! These new alternators contain regulators that MAY require special wiring. I am not a GM alternator expert so I suggest you read this site or call them to see if the alternator you have needs anything special. If you hook up the wires wrong, you will fry the VERY expensive regulator. You need to know EXACTLY which model of alternator you have.

Part# 4PCS-130 This 4 pin offset sealed connector fits the CS-121, CS-130 and CS-144 alternators
